Good Manufacturing Practices
Winston Packaging has a cGMP based quality system. Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is a manufacturing quality protocol defined by US federal law and administered by the FDA. The cGMP system ensures products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. In the United States, cGMP regulations for industries such as foods, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and most recently tobacco, fall under the authority of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Graphic Measures International
GMI, a third party certification body, measures performance of packaging suppliers. Winston Packaging achieved GMI certification in 2010 as required by Target, Inc., Walgreens and other large retailers.

G7 Master Printer
The G7 Proof to Print Process uses the most modern technology, techniques, and press controls to produce the closest visual match from proof to print. Winston Packaging has maintained G7 Master Printer status from IDEAlliance since 2011.

Quality Lab
In the quality lab our technicians conduct frequent tests on the physical and visual properties of cartons during production. Tests include rub for inks, color hue and density, coefficient of friction, kinetic friction tests for slip, score-bend and gloss readings. Our experienced quality team tests samples from each production run to continuously monitor our processes.

Facility Audits
Customers and prospects are encouraged to conduct a personalized audit of our facilities to experience the Winston Difference first hand.
